Play Based Learning in Ruaumoko
Our Ruaumoko children have had an exciting start to the year! It has been lovely getting to know each of the learners in our class. We have been sharing about who our families are and the things we like to do at school and at home. We are great at showing Kia Maia/being proud of who we are. At school we have been loving playing together. Some of our favourites have been the dinosaurs, animals, dress ups, and playdoh. During our play based learning we are learning to take turns and share with others - Kia Manawanui. We learn to ask questions and be curious about the world around us - Tuku Patai. When we face challenges, we learn to problem solve and persevere - Kia Kaha. We share our interests with others and talk proudly about ourselves and our creations - Kia Maia.
